Preface

"We work in the dark, We do what we can, We give what we have, Our doubt is our passion, And our passion is our task, The rest is the madness of art” ~Henry James

In His Arms

The half-light of the morning
Creeps across cold tile
Towards the dark corner of a living room
Where a man’s silhouette rests;

Held between the soft glowing light
And dark corner entreating him
His head bent downwards
Ever so slightly
Praying for the life cradled in his arms
